El Hospital Covid-19 del Instituto de Salud para el Bienestar (Insabi) ubicado en Juchitán de Zaragoza en el Istmo de Tehuantepec, cerró sus puertas el pasado 26 de mayo, dejando en incentidumbre laboral a más de 35 trabajadores de la salud. Después de un año y medio de la pandemia de Covid-19 en Oaxaca, cientos de trabajadores que fueron contratados para estar en primera línea en la contingencia sanitaria, hoy están en riesgo del desempleo a pesar de que los contagios aún no terminan.
Motivo por el que médicos y personal de enfermería del Hospital Covid de JUCHITÁN iniciaron protestas esta mañana en las puertas de este nosocomio para exigir al Insabi ser recontratados y reubicados. “Queremos que se nos reconozca como trabajadores, personal de primera línea, queremos un trabajo estable y formal” señalaron.
Trabajadores dieron a conocer que en lo que va de la pandemia, tres contratos fueron firmados por parte del Insabi, asimismo, no se les notificó formalmente el motivo del cierre del Hospital Covid, sin embargo les indicaron que el último contrato concluyó en el mes de mayo y a la fecha no ha sido renovado.
COMIENZA EL CIERRE DE HOSPITALES EN LA ENTIDAD
Luego de las protestas de esta mañana en Juchitán de Zaragoza, la diputada local Gloria López Sánchez lamentó la situación y refrendó el apoyo a las y los trabajadores.
Por su parte, dijo, este miércoles presentará en el congreso local un exhorto a los Servicios de Salud de Oaxaca (SSO) y a la Secretaría de Salud de México para atender la situación laboral de trabajadores. “Este hospital se hizo para atender a la población y no para que se encuentre cerrado” dijo López Sánchez.
Misma situación que se vive en el Hospital de la Mujer y el Niño Oaxaqueño el cual dejó de recibir pacientes de COVID-19 desde el 1 de junio. De manera extra oficial se dio a conocer por trabajadores que el pasado sábado 5 de junio se emitió la orden del cierre de Hospitales Covid en la entidad oaxaqueña.
De los 25 hospitales que forman la red hospitalaria COVID de Oaxaca, la mayoría operados por la Secretaría de la Defensa Nacional (Sedena), comenzarán a suspender servicios a partir del mes de junio quedando habilitados únicamente el Hospital General Dr. Aurelio Valdivieso, Hospital Regional de Alta Especialidad de Oaxaca (HRAEO) y el Hospital Móvil ubicado en Reyes Mantecon.
