El proyecto de modernización de Símbolos Patrios impactará positivamente en la conectividad de Valles Centrales

El Proyecto integral de Ampliación y
Modernización de la Carretera federal 175 (Oaxaca-Puerto Angel) avenida Símbolos Patrios, mejorará la movilidad urbana, motorizada y peatonal, además de reducir los accidentes automovilísticos en una zona de alta afluencia vehicular en beneficio de la
población de al menos tres municipios en su primera etapa.


La importancia de la obra reside en que se moderniza la principal vía de acceso a la zona metropolitana por la zona sur, vinculando a la población de tres municipios y mejora la fluidez para los usuarios provenientes de diversos municipios de los Valles Centrales,
como Zimatlán, Ocotlán o Miahuatlán, entre otros, que viajan diariamente a las zonas comerciales de la capital del estado.


Esta modernización incrementa la capacidad de la vía para ofrecer un nivel de servicio óptimo a los usuarios, ya que permite una mayor conectividad y competitividad en la región de Valles Centrales.


La modernización de la Avenida Símbolos Patrios permite el aumento en las velocidades de operación de los diferentes tipos de vehículos, la reducción en los tiempos de
recorrido, de los costos de operación de los diferentes tipos de vehículos, aumenta la seguridad en el tramo al separar viajes de mediano y largo itinerario, y reduce la contaminación ambiental por emisión de gases y ruido.


También mejora la conectividad regional, especialmente a quienes se trasladan de la Ciudad de Oaxaca hacia los atractivos turísticos de la zona sur con los que conecta la Carretera Federal 175 y la Carretera Federal – Estatal 161, que comunican con los
destinos de playa de Huatulco y Puerto Escondido.


Adicionalmente, beneficia también a los usuarios que tienen como destino el Aeropuerto Internacional de Xoxocotlán y la “ruta mágica de las artesanías”.

El proyecto integral contempla mejoras muy importantes en materia de seguridad
peatonal, en el entorno visual urbano, en semaforización, de conexiones vehiculares e incorporaciones de entrada y salida, y un reordenamiento de los paradores del transporte
público.


Asimismo, considera el cuidado del medio ambiente mediante la reconversión del arbolado urbano con un plan de manejo elaborado por una empresa especialista, que comprende más de mil 600 árboles de diferentes especies que se sembrarán a lo largo de la avenida y la zona de influencia en los municipios involucrados, para que n representen peligro para la población o los automovilistas.


Este proyecto se ha socializado con autoridades municipales, vecinos y comercios que serán beneficiados y organizaciones ambientalistas, con las que se han sostenido diversas reuniones para enriquecer el proyecto que beneficiará directamente, en una primera etapa, a los habitantes de Oaxaca de Juárez, Santa Cruz Xoxocotlán y San Antonio de la Cal.

Se contempla que, en una segunda etapa, se abarque el entronque al
aeropuerto Benito Juárez en territorio de San Agustín de las Juntas.
La Primera etapa considera el entronque a nivel de la gasolinera G500, un entronque en Avenida Universidad, una glorieta en el las cercanías de la Quinta Las Aguilar y un puente
sobre el Río Salado.


Esta etapa comprende 3.6 kilómetros con Sección carretera Tipo A8S, con 8 carriles de 3.50 m. cada uno, cuatro por sentido, sin acotamientos laterales, separados por un camellón central que va de 1 a3 metros de ancho y 28 metros de ancho de calzada.


Además del reordenamiento de los paraderos del transporte público, la construcción o rehabilitación de banquetas, el rediseño de los cruces peatonales, el mejoramiento del
alumbrado público, el mejoramiento del drenaje pluvial a lo largo de la avenida y la semaforización.


En suma, este proyecto cumple con el Apartado 4.4 Comunicaciones y Transportes del Eje IV: Oaxaca Productivo e Innovador incluido en el Plan Estatal de Desarrollo 2016-2022 de Oaxaca, en el que se establece: “mejorar la conectividad del estado y
dentro de sus regiones mediante infraestructura integral y comunicaciones modernas que fomenten la competitividad, productividad y desarrollo económico y social”.
