A dias de la renovación de la autoridad municipal en la ciudad de Oaxaca, Javier Villacaña Jiménez hizo publica su decisión de no asumir la regiduria de representación proporcional que le corresponde por temas personales relacionados con su salud. Informó que su decisión de no ejercer el cargo no implica a que en el seno del cabildo se deje de impulsar la agenda de trabajo que contribuya a construir una mejor ciudad para los capitalinos.
Previo a la toma de posesión del Presidente Municipal Electo, Francisco Martínez Neri, deseo a todo los integrantes de la comuna de Oaxaca el mayor de los éxitos en la ardua y noble tarea de servir a la ciudad.
Manifestó que su determinación contribuye a la no polarización sino a la construcción de acuerdos en armonía institucional; es mejor, consideró, dar espacio a ciudadanos que tambien tienen esa vocación de servicio pues bien que le hace falta a la ciudad gente talentosa y con conocimiento.
Agradeció el respaldo y confianza de los mas de 40 mil votos que hicieron posible que todos los espacios de representacion proporcional sean ocupados por quienes lo acompañaron en el proyecto politico que encabezó en la pasada elección municipal.
Villacaña Jiménez dejó en claro que los cinco regidores electos estan plenamente comprometidos con los diferentes grupos de la sociedad que le plantearon sus demandas así que impulsarán una agenda que tenga que ver con Oaxaca y con las respuestas que estos grupos están esperando.
Finalmente comentó que en cuanto le sea posible retomara el trabajo social en su organizacion Apoyo Comunitario de Oaxaca ( ACO ), labor que le permitió conocer a mucha gente que hasta hoy le brindan su confianza y su apoyo.
