Un día como hoy, pero hace cuatro años nació la iniciativa política denominada Partido de Mujeres Revolucionarias (PMR), como un ejercicio ejemplar de la lucha feminista.


Con ello se buscó revindicar los derechos políticos electorales de las mujeres en el estado, ante una clara desigualdad y menos precio al sector.
Sin embargo, quien fuera dirigente de este movimiento histórico Guadalupe Díaz, señaló que hoy en el Día Internacional de la Mujer se deben recordar acciones que nos ayuden de manera progresiva a lograr la igualdad sustantiva.


“Saludos a todas, caminemos con pactos sóricos y avancemos sin titubeos abriendo camino para las nuevas generaciones. El objetivo aún se ve lejos, pero llegaremos”, dijo.


El PRM, fue un parteaguas en la historia de Oaxaca y es que el instituto buscó que más mujeres pudieran acceder a cargos públicos y difundir una plataforma de respeto a los derechos político-electorales.
Con más de 13 mil adhesiones, el Partido de Mujeres Revolucionarias (PMR) participó, hace cuatro años, por primera vez en las elecciones locales de Oaxaca como el primer partido político impulsado por mujeres.


Aunque no excluía la participación de los hombres, el partido buscó que el sector femenino fuera quien se posicionara ante las desigualdades, que aún padecen.


La lucha para el registro del instituto político no fue fácil ya que había que cumplir con los requisitos que fueron establecidos por el Instituto Estatal Electoral y de Participación Ciudadana de Oaxaca (IEEPCO).


El organismo electoral les solicitó a la entonces a la Asociación Civil “Lexie” un mínimo de cuatro mil 800 firmas de la lista nominal para poder conformar el instituto político, que fue anunciado el 8 de marzo del 2017, por Guadalupe “Lupita” Díaz.


Después de un proceso jurídico en tribunales, se otorgó el registro con la cual postularon a candidatas y candidatos a presidencias municipales y diputaciones locales.
“La meta es superar en esta primera elección los 30 mil votos y atraer a quienes tienen interés en participar en política, lo que muchas veces no encuentran en los partidos políticos tradicionales”, dijo en su momento Lupita Díaz.


“Las mujeres es un segmento muy poderoso en el estado y el país, buscamos demostrar que sí podemos, que tenemos sueños, metas y que el partido puede ser un instrumento para ellas”, agregó.
Esta lucha que nació hace cuatro años, continua desde cada una de las trincheras y ha sido un ejemplo en el estado y el país, para erradicar las desigualdades y la discriminación de las mujeres en la vida política y social.
